Car Pool Collective
Car Pool Music is a multimedia music collective based in San Luis Obispo that connects over 300 members with venues, organizations, and individuals in the community through performances and events. Car Pool was founded by Chris Marston as a way to bring new opportunities to professional and aspiring musicians, vocalists, photographers, graphic designers, audio engineers, and teachers by connecting individuals and groups together. Car Pool has helped members to form bands, write original music, record music and music videos, establish venues, and promote artists and groups across the Central Coast. Events
Car Pool Collective sponsors events and partners with organizations to bring the music community together. Partnerships with venues, bands, collectives, and small businesses allow us to bring more variety of opportunities for our members.
Networks
The Collective has a Discord for members to join to interact, plan upcoming events, get projects off the ground or promoted, and connect with each other to form new friendships and organize.
Lessons
Collective members have acquired a plethora of skills and many offer lessons in their instruments or fields of study. If you have a skill to teach, many are willing to trade instruction and learn from each other.
